Directions to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis, IL.

From the east on I-80 or I-74 (Coming from Chicago, New York, Peoria, Galesburg)

As you are heading toward the Quad Cities area you will come to an interchange where Interstates 80 and 74 intersect with I-280.
Follow the signs for I-80 West (Davenport, Iowa)
Go approx. 7 miles (from the interchange) to Exit 4A (Silvis)
Take Exit 4A
Exit 4A will take you to IL Rt. 5 & Rt. 92 heading west.
Stay on Rt. 5 for approx 5 miles to the 3rd traffic light (Crosstown Ave.) (At the 3rd traffic light you will see a Jewel supermarket. Also, just before you get to the 3rd traffic light you will be able to see Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on your right side located on the service road.)
Turn right at the 3rd light and make another immediate right hand turn onto the service road. (Important: It is an immediate right onto the service road. Almost like a U-turn.)
Lots of parking available in the church parking lot.

From the west on I-80 (Coming from Iowa City, Des Moines, Omaha, Muscatine)

Take Interstate 80 across the Mississippi River into Illinois. (Do not take the I-280 exit on the west side of Davenport. You will run into extensive road construction.)
After crossing into Illinois take Exit 4A.
Exit 4A will take you to IL Rt. 5 and Rt. 92 heading west.
Stay on Rt. 5 for approx 4.7 miles to the 3rd traffic light (Crosstown Ave.) (At Cross Town Ave. you will see a Jewel supermarket. Also, just before you get to the traffic light at Cross Town Ave. you will be able to see Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on your right side located on the service road.)
Turn right at Cross Town Ave. and make another immediate right hand turn onto the service road. (Important: It is an immediate right onto the service road. Almost like a U-turn.)

From the south on Rt. 67 (Coming from Monmouth and Macomb.)

Take Rt. 67 all the way into Milan, IL. About 4 miles out from Milan Rt. 67 will turn into a 4-lane road.
As you proceed down the hill on Rt. 67 into Milan get into the right hand land.
You will come to a T-intersection (if you look straight ahead you will see Milan Auto Mart) where you have to turn right or left. You will turn to the right. The sign will say Quad City Airport with an arrow pointing the the right.
Stay on Airport Road for approx 5 miles to another T-intersection (Rt. 6).
You will turn right. There will be a Holiday Inn Hotel and McDonald's at the T-intersection where you have to turn.
After you have turned right get into the left lane as soon as possible. You will be making a sweeping curve to the left and you will be making a left hand turn at the next traffic light.(I-74)
Continue on this highway across the Rock River to Exit 4. You will want to take the first available exit onto John Deere Expressway (Rt. 5). You will be heading east.
After you have exited onto John Deere Expressway (Rt. 5) you will go approx. 6.2 miles. You will go through 7 traffic lights. At the 8th traffic light (Crosstown Ave.) you will make a left turn. (A Jewel grocery store will be at this intersection.) As soon as you have turned left you will make an immediate right hand turn onto a service road, which runs parallel to the highway you just turned off of. Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will be on your left about 1/3 of a mile down the service road.

From the Quad Cities

Go to John Deere Expressway (Rt. 5) in Moline.
Go east on John Deere Expressway (that's towards Blackhawk College).
Follow John Deere Expressway all the way past John Deere Administration offices continuing on around the sweeping left curve up the hill into Silvis.
Continue on Rt. 5 to Crosstown Ave. (Jewel store on your left) and turn left. After turning left immediately turn right onto the service road that runs parallel to Rt. 5. Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will be on your left about 1/3 of a mile down the service road.
